Paul Miller has been with the Preservation Society since 1977, becoming Associate Curator in 1989, and then Curator in 1995.
Paul received his Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Marist College, and a Masters degree in International Relations from the John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Relations. He also attended the University of Paris IV, Institut d’Art et d”Archeologie, with a concentration in 19th century French art and architecture.
His specialty is 19th century French architectural interiors, and he has acted as a consultant on related questions for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Corcoran Gallery; Hillwood; and the Ringling Museum of Art. Among his publications is "Newport in the Gilded Age" in The Magazine Antiques (April 1995).
