Grand Tasting

Saturday, September 25 & Sunday, September 26
12 pm to 4 pm

Free parking for the Grand Tasting will be at Easton's Beach at 175 Memorial Boulevard, with free shuttle transportation to Marble House.

What better place to be than outdoors on the grounds of Marble House to taste some of the finest wines from around the globe?  Learn and enjoy as you taste your way around the world of fine wines. 

You're invited to enter through the front door of Marble House, and enjoy the opportunity to tour the first floor of this magnificent mansion before you begin your tasting experience

Grand Tasting includes: 

 

• More than 100 wineries from around the world
   
• Food samplings from a variety of caterers and restaurants
   
• Fabulous auctions of luxury goods and wines
   
• Cooking tent with ongoing free chef demonstrations
   
• A souvenir glass to use during the Tasting and to take home
   
• A color, glossy show program with a map of the exhibitors, plus demonstration schedules

  
  Noted viniculture artist Thomas Arvid will also be on hand, creating one of his unique paintings depicting wine and the rituals surrounding its consumption.   Stop by and watch this fascinating artist at work!

  Your Grand Tasting admission on Saturday afternoon also includes admission to our live auction of international wines and specialty products, with guest auctioneer Billy Costa of Kiss108 radio and the TV  Diner! In addition, both Grand Tasting days will feature a silent auction, with an exciting collection of items including wines, golf packages, dinners, gift baskets, sports memorabilia and more.

  Our celebrity chefs will be making special appearances to cook and sign their cookbooks during the weekend Grand Tastings.  Don't miss a chance to meet your favorite chefs and pick up some of their books!

  Start your day with a delicious buffet brunch, with a menu designed by Yankee Magazine Food Editor Annie Copps, on the terrace of Marble House, accompanied by a live jazz performance.  Then stroll down to the Grand Tasting tent to sample from more than 100 wines provided by some of the world's leading vintners.
